This is a really BAD 1954 commercial for Chesterfield Cigarettes. Compared to the Lucky Strike ads of the same period, this commercial stinks. I advise everybody to NOT download this commercial. As you probably already know, this is taken from the opening of a fine episode of "The Perry Como Show", which can also be downloaded from the Internet Archive.

| Quisp Cereal : Television Commercial : 1966 - Jay Ward
Quisp is a sugar-sweetened breakfast cereal from the Quaker Oats Company. It was introduced in 1965 and continued as a mass-market grocery item until the late 1970s. Sometime afterward, the company sold the item sporadcially, and upon the rise of the Internet began selling it primarily online. Quisp was initially marketed with a sister brand, Quake. Its joint-product television commercials were produced by Jay Ward, a major producer of animated television series.

| 1963 Bufferin TV commercial ad
This TV commercial appears in context as it was originally broadcast in 1963. We begin with a station identification for the ABC show "Channing" which then leads into the Bufferin ad. Then a brief fade-in to the program. This was back in the days when an ad break was only 60 seconds. Time for one commercial or two short ones. A one-hour program was 55 minutes with 5 minutes of ads. Today you get 45 minutes of show and 15 minutes of ads...

Five product ads, a network promo, and a PSA. All of these ran during the 1965-1966 season of ABC's "Honey West". Sponsors: Hunt's Catsup, Wesson oil, Maybelline (remember "Mabelline eyes"?), and Wilkinson razor blades. Promo for "The FBI" series features Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as "Lou Erskine" (TV's first hero with a Jewish name) and glimpses of guest villains Robert Duvall and Ted Knight. The ads are all in black & white but this promo boasts an "in color" tag.
