Re: Item not indexed |
Did they eventually get indexed? Is it something that will happen by itself, or do I have to report this to someone?

Looks like things caught up overnight. Seems to be fixed now. :)

Re: Item not indexed |
Sometimes if you just hit "Edit item" and then "Submit" it'll resubmit it for inclusion in the search engine. Not always the case, but worth a try.

Re: Item not indexed |
Wait, if it's Club D'Elf that may have been deliberately frozen pending approval- in that case don't jog that back into the SE yet.

Re: Item not indexed |
how exactly does band approval work with the new system?
with the old system, for Club d'Elf, an admin would email Mike for a thumbs up or thumbs down before approving each show. Now that shows go live immediately, how does this work? For each Club d'Elf show, does an admin get an email notifying that a new show is there and needs approval? are automatic emails generated and sent to Mike? who does he respond to if that's the case? Now that admin's don't have to approve each individual recording, how is this sort of thing controlled? what is the process?

Re: Item not indexed |
They get frozen by a curator daily (by hand), when that happens the item can only be seen by the uploader and curators. It's removed from the SE until unfrozen - like this one. Once unfrozen, it shows up in all the lists.
The emails are sent by hand.

Re: Item not indexed |
Yes, they did. It's a systemwide thing, I think.
