I think I've got a fairly good idea of what goes on and how the various protagonists fit into my ever shifting Venn diagram of forumite foibles. There are some who you might give a cautious nod to in the street, others who you'd go out of your way to avoid. But what's really heartening when you stop to think about it is just how long a list you can make of people you can imagine sitting down with for a coffee and a chat. It's the undercurrent of decency and tolerance that brings me back when I think the lunatics have finally taken over and I should give up on the place.

Yup; I was really tapering off the last few weeks posting wise and suddenly, bam: with a little extra time, and sudden wealth of old friend posters, there was a great deal of pleasant activity for which, in a very small way, I was very happy to be a part of, and have no sense whatsoever of the doom and gloom that used to overtake the place and my view of it somewhat regularly.

Of course, I have embraced my role as Polly Anna, with skirt chasing tendencies as a minor flaw...
