Here's some more suggestions that I haven't seen recommended for a while:
Animal Liberation Orchestra:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Animal%20Liberation%20Orchestra
-for chill jams, good songs

Benevento/Russo Duo:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Benevento%2FRusso
-Nasty keys/drums duo - play a few sets with Mike Gordon!

Derek Trucks Band:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Derek%20Trucks%20Band
-Trucks just might be the nastiest slide guitar player EVER...also is in the current Allman Brothers lineup

Eddie from Ohio:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=Eddie%20From%20Ohio
-Fun folk-rock band that has tight harmonies and great shows

Infradig:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=infradig
-"Electronic" band...for fans of MMW

John Butler Trio:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=John%20Butler%20Trio
-Sweet acoustic trio - plus one of the NASTIEST live acts out there

KVHW:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=KVHW
-classic jams, great grooves

New Monsoon:
http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=New%20Monsoon
-For fans of String Cheese - this band is really growing into a "jam band" staple - lots of world grooves, but they can rock too

And of course, there are plenty of others that have been hyped up lately such as Soulive, Garaj MAhal, Del McCoury Band, Charlie Hunter, Matisyahu, and your classics such as moe, String Cheese incident, Spearhead, Keller Williams, Umphrey's McGee, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, Yonder Mountain String Band

I'm missing so much good stuff, but here's just a few...i wish there were more threads about non-Dead stuff...i mean i LOVE the Grateful Dead, but there's so much other stuff that's just as good (if not better)
