Yes, the links work.

May I please hijack the thread to ask a question? When I click the link it takes ages to load in Quicktime before I can hear the song (and no track names appear); how can I change the default player on such a link to Winamp, which I use for most other music-playing defaults? Or is the player determined by the source (e.g. Live Music Archive)?

Be very careful. You don't want to end up like 'old' ah_uh_oh_um, decapitated, knee-capped (not that you can walk anyway, after being decapitated) and now spending the rest of his life surrounded by reinforced steel concrete as part of the foundations of some big sky-scraper (ain't they all big) in a town near you ........... never to see the light of day again.

Thanks for warning me. Quite a Pandora's box, this whole issue. Lucky escape.

Depends on your platform (mac, Windows, iPhone etc.) - you need to specify what will be the default player for the mp3 format. On my Mac, these links launch another browser window which plays immediately. Control + click (or right-click on Windows) will present options to DL the file or specify the player you wish to use. Hope that helps...
