But Jerry is so cool and the Stones suck Richard Nixon's decayed balls. Even the Grateful Freaking Dead thought they sucked. Now no doubt Buddy and Muddy are down, but a clock is right twice a day. One way or another BD.

Yeah, j and I commiserated over that yesterday. Hopefully NYC and San Fran. will at least be on the schedule this time, if not closer. Have you ever seen him perform?

Many moons ago w/ Ralph Carney and Marc Ribot lineup. Fantastic. Did meet him in SF airport a few years ago when I had come out here for Col Les Claypool's Frog Brigade at Great American Music Hall (show where they recorded Animals) and since Les and Brain had played with him used that as intro to ask if going. He wasn't, but son was (who is drumming for him). Was very nice guy and I only bugged him for about 10 minutes. Also, he's quite small.
I also met Jim Carroll in SFO (RIP) and said hey to Garcia at baggage carousel once a long, long time ago. In retrospect, might have been nice to have asked for autographs, but never do. Seems uncool to ask.

Want to drive me nuts? Set the clocks ahead by 5, 10 whatever minutes, 'so you won't be late', or 'you have extra time'. If it's noon set it for noon! Be where the time is. Maybe I'm wrong and some folks can time shift.
