Pure Jerry-Warner Theatre |
Just came and I must say ordered on Monday and hand delivered Friday afternoon is a spectacular start to the week. The Lonesome and a Long Way From Home is worth the price alone, the jam Blues For Allahesque, deep and trippy - other standouts are a Love in the Afternoon with Buzz Buchannan who just payed reggae so much better than Kreutzman, so this swings and rolls like a baked Rastafarian on a muddy path, a misty Mission in the Rain with some amazing piano by Keith Godchaux, who seems to play better here than with the Dead at this point in 1978. Even Midnight Moonlight soars above the cold DC night...
The Palm Sunday is to cry for... Five stars out of five!!!
Released in 2005, we need more Pure Jerry!
