this is hands down my favorite viola. just wondering where the soundboard is??? i swear i had this version on tape as filler back in the day. a clear as a bell soundboard. kinda wish i had it again.well give the aud. a listen. its on fire!!!

The version you had on tape was almost certainly 4/12/70, which circulated under different mislabeled dates. There never was a soundboard tape for the July Fillmore shows, alas! If there were, it would probably vie for the best run of 1970.

The measuring stick for me is the Viola from 05/02/70, after the first listen to this one, it is a bit different but a stellar version regardless of sound quality. Thanks for pointing this one out.

I second Harpurs and must make a recommendation to 04-06-1969 that ends acapella after the powers is shut off...
