NJ pulled out a cover of IMHBTR this June. I was going to wait for the just about exactly perfect version, which I'm sure will happen at some point, but this one is from Central Park last night. And like GD their are a few flubs. Oh well. When she finally nails it her version will blow away any version ever done by GD. The quote in the subject line was right before the song began by NJ.

When she toured with Keller Williams 12 or 13 years ago, they did more than a few awesome GD/JGB covers, as a duet and solo. I do remember one great show at the TLA in Phila.

Felt some of the best versions of this song was when GD played it acoustically in late 1980........
would love to hear acoustic NJ's version....with her on the piano.

I would love to hear her on piano too. The guitarist is a French dude and I just don't think he can pull off the licks you need that will bring the song to the next level. He is a colorist and mood maker. Hardly a soloist.

YA decent tribute no doubt but she will never blow away any version by the GD.... who let her out of the lounge anyway?
