REALLY agree with your last point... can't wait for that Deal to finally go DOWN!

There were so many times when they just didn't know when to quit. The repeating coda is a major weakness.

Sometimes that sort of thing works live, when you were there . I remember the long drawn out show-biz ending to "Around and Around", in the late Keith & Donna era . It was fun then and there, but from the jaded ( and sometimes grumpy) position of having to hear that at every other show from say 78, it gets old . And one of the benefits of the big guitar solo that got tacked on the end of Deal in late 80, was better than the original ending, you refer to . Funny, I don't mind the repeat ending of "Might as Well," which is sort of muggingly goofy ("we'll be right back folks , don't touch that dial").
