No, you can do batch conversions. You just import all the files at once and "chain" export them to mp3s. It's pretty fast. I guess I'm just used to it.

ahh, i see what you are referring to, had never used that feature b4, altho i can see it's use when i'm dithering from 24/96 to 16/44; how did you set options to keep the exact name (and metainfo) of the file being exported? in my test runs, the track name was changed, both literally and the metadata, while the rest of the metadata was unchanged; seemed a bit more involved timewise, but otherwise great tip
