just the flash plugin.
it's possible the "agent detection" isn't "wide enough" inside jwplayer's inner JS code. i will try to see if i can figure anything out....

i mean, the flash plugin, if the ogg can't natively play in your FFox -- and i *think* that's a pretty old ffox so won't be able to play [video] or [audio] tags? any consideration if it's years old to update or not ideal/possible?

yah, that should be a plenty good enough version (we require v9+)
and you said anyway the old player was working (also requires v9+)
hmmm......
wondering if maybe your firefox is confusing us to think it can play [video] tag so we're not giving you flash. but you said preferring flash didn't work either, hmm....
gonna see if i can make a "click here" page, possibly, for folks like you w/ issues to see if we can step thru answers of "do we think you have flash installed? do we think you can play it? do we think sample small item has a format you can play? do we think... " and so on...

ooh, woohoo! ok, now we're getting somewhere, *thanks* for your participation and basically helping us together to fix things! 8-)
i will start adding some more player tests like:
flash and html5
html5 and flash
our skin
our skin + our JS customizations (now i'm thinking the issue is happening in one of these for you, etc....)

and ya, camels is just a very short video (ideal for testing) random-ness from the oakland zoo ;-)
