Okay, I hit the 'intelligence' wall again . . . this is all I could find on the movie Sabrina with Bogart and Audrey Hepburn - does it prove copyright status? It is all I could find, and the 1995 date is not what I was expecting:

Yes, too bad. But you can get it new at Amazon $2.68.

Disclosure: I own Amazon. Or should I say, one of them owns me.

Did you find that in the online copyright web site database? What words did you search on? I looked through dozens of pages re: Sabrina and couldn't find that??

Yes I did use the online USCO database. See link below.
After my initial search, I do a sort of the results. There is a box that gives you several choices. I use the 'date ascending' choice that resorts starting with the earliest date to the latest. Using Sabrina as an example, I look for 1954, (date of release of this movie) then the letters RE followed by a number in the column to the left of the date column. Also, read the info in the full title column, a lot of the time it will say 'motion picture'. And there are occasions where you will have to look at several different entries until you find what you want.

Thank you, that makes a lot of sense, and I never thought of sorting. I appreciate the knowledge . . . there is so much to learn!
