May I just point out that in this sentence 'over which I have control' is a relative clause, in this case relative to the subject 'all things' and thus clearly carrying the implication that you wield control over all things and that all things are fine. I wouldn't wish at all to suggest any diminution in your undoubted powers, but removing the commas would give the sense that only those things over which you have control are fine, which I suspect was your intention.
Ok - you can ignore me now. I'm sure these things matter not at all 'cept to a pedantic old goat like me. :-)

Oh it does matter, though perhaps only to "old goats"(you, me and Wm. Tell). Thanks for reminding me that I need to be more careful about such things.
