I love that one. Visions of Johanna is one of my 4 or 5 favorite Dylan songs. Check out this exceptional Mr. Tambourine Man which clocks in at almost 9 minutes. I didn't find this one on YouTube. The sound quality is much better in this file than in the YouTube vids.

Is it smart posting links to non trade friendly band downloads on LMA forums now? Has something changed that I'm not aware of?

I'm not sure. If someone can clear this up, I'd appreciate it though. I figure if it was frowned upon, Jeff or someone would have said something by now.
Perhaps it would be ok if I uploaded the songs to YouTube, made them private, and gave out a password to the people here? There are often links to YouTube videos posted here of taper unfriendly artists, and copyrighted material. Is the fact that I'm making it downloadable a no-no?

Anyone out there? What material is ok to share here? Are live bootlegs ok?

Re: help please |
Use common sense. If a band is not trade friendly...in other words not on the list of artists here that have given their okay to offer their music free of charge at LMA, then don't post downloads of their material on the website. Do you think that curators feel like dealing with Columbia records bitching at them because you've made Bob Dylan material available for download on their website?

On the chance a Dylan fan is not familiar with this performance I thought I would link it as I just discovered it on youtube,I have had this version as filler on a live Dylan tape since about 80',and it is a riveting version.
