Might have something to do with your internet provider or your connection. My downloads go rather fast, sometimes as high as 800 Kb/s. Check if you are experiencing the same problem with other downloading sites and perhaps call your internet provider.

My download speeds have been pretty consistant at about 154kb/s. Not as fast as yours but works for me.

Thanks for the suggestions. It is only the Archive that is a problem for me - all other sites seem OK. When I tried a test with 'The Mystery Man' cinepack file it worked OK showing a code of ia600606 in the download box (IE9) but failed when ia700606 code appeared. I had no control over the choice of code - I just noticed it. In the meantime my download speeds are closer to 'dial-up' than broadband on all Archive links (inc libravox) so I will contact my ISP just in case. Thanks again.
