This AUD in History - 6/9/91 - for Frosty |
I was going to refrain from posting this in light of very formidable competition on this particular date in history, but this AUD recording from the summer of 1991 is too good not to mention.
The other reason is because this is the first time I've ever wanted to recommend a show to Frosty of "Frosty's Picks," but my email to him bounced.
So Frosty, if you're out there, this one's for you:
http://www.archive.org/details/gd1991-06-09.fob.brennecke-young.GEMS.95641.flac16This show will convert the undecided, but if you like '91 shows at all, it's a dandy. Solid all the way through. Even Picasso sounds pretty decent in a strong first set. Solid set two transitions and a very nice post-space section featuring an excellent Other One> Wharf transition.
Take this one out back with a few cold ones on a sweltering summer day and enjoy.

had a GRATE time. anybody out there goto the show from Columbus with his girlfriend and meet a guy from jersey-hit it off and then stay in touch for a few years?
or stay in that motel right across the highway and have that GRATE pizza in that little bar 100 yds from the motel?
I have 1-2 dozen stories from the "trip" that would have you pissin in your pants-grate time and ofcourse the r&c to boot
