Re: Plant sings Dew?!?! |
Jimmy Buffet did UJB, and Scarlet . I,m not A fan, ( at one point I said he was the Dead for yuppies ), but at least he did them, and I guess they are OK .
I was always impressed at the varied crowd, we would et at Tower, when his tickets went on sale .
Elvis Costello has performed "Ship of Fools", and "Roses" , and has famously stood up for the band's songwriting .

Re: Plant sings Dew?!?! |
I am not up on his recent set lists, but off the top of my head, he has done FOTD, Alabama Getaway, West LA, and his Silvio, is essentially a Robert Hunter song ( the lyrics certainly sound like a Hunter song ).
I heard him do Elizabeth Cotton's "Baby It Ain't No Lie", that he most likely got from, or was reminded of, by Garcia . The same goes for his recorded versions, of "Jack-o-roe", and "2 Soldiers ".
