This version at about 10 minutes is stunning. The jam out of Wheel>China Doll is slow and eerie and silky, and the end jam after the vocals is one of Jerry's best performances of the classic Reprise Riff. The end just rocks and this is hands down one of their best versions of the Playing Reprise...

...although you can't stream it, I would get out my visa right now and have this DP delivered in what manner suites you best...

Cap't, Thank-you for your kind offer! However, I am still waiting for your Visa card number. I was thinking next day delivery? Is that O.K.? ;-)

I love PITB Rep. From its quiet melodic beginnings, building to a true GD climax that satisfies better then any Truckin' one (gantlet thrown down).
Here are a few I love,

begins 6' into Space , check out Bobby at 5:45 till the end in the PITB

Well done sir! Cap't, sorry (the excitement).
I shall be waiting every day, holding my breath, wondering, is today the day my prince shall come?

And correct you are Cap't. about 10/16/89. Get the meat clever out, b/c that's really a one disc release.
Cooking Stranger on that though. Blistering.

Just thought it would be worth mentioning that the '84 Augusta version is a reprise of the Playin' from the previous night!

Hey, just to be clear, I posted that because I thought it was an interesting fact - I trust that you didn’t think I was being critical of your post! I was at those shows and thought how they wrapped up the Playin’ like that, along with the Uncle John’s reprise, was pretty damn awesome. (Not to mention the Cold Rain & Snow, the Dew...)

v , It's O.K.
Maybe next time I'm out of line/acting like a fool, which happens with some regularity, you can be critical and sarcastic and whatever else you are feeling, for free (so to speak).
Please, please sweep all the eggshells out of your IA 'apartment'. We are one funny looking family here, but we are.

Augusta '84 is a 1%. I can listen to the whole second set without editing. Best of '84?
