I admit this place regularly involves portions of my days, but I am content to wander where I do. Like: http://www.archive.org/details/skce2010-07-30

BTW, listening to your Kimock link now, very nice recording for sure! ... i love the fact there is no singing, wish there were more quality bands that had no vocals, and one reason why i listen to the Mermen regularly

i've listened to some Kimock here at LMA, and it's pretty damn good at times, altho i have definitely not spent enough time listening, too much other stuff i guess

lately i've been drenching myself with BB:

Thankfully I entered the internet thing, found this place (!), and also netflix, a rental from which showcased the Woody Guthrie material with Wilco – everyone should see it – this was my introduction to Billy Bragg. Nice of you to suggest this link (I stopped the Crazy Engine to listen). Hey it’s playing so far on its’ own – just as well, because I’ve no more toggling left in me tonight . And no Wilco here – but some on Netflix yes.

'Some people just want it now' - quote from A Vauxhall Velox – check out arb’s link )

And loads here: http://www.owlandbear.com/wilco-archive/

Primus sucks!

FYI, Ler is big Jer fan... and Jay Lane is original drummer.

Thanks for that Wilco link- I listen to a lot of that and Son Volt working around the house. I'm building a rock wall and listening to JGB this afternoon.

Wait – did you see that show!?
I am glad you are around – but the pepper thing is going over my head. Or perhaps – and possibly I can call you out just now – you are itching to submit your cherished recipe for a fine chili… Inquiring mind wishes to know.

My poke – please listen to this show. My moments here keeping up are most likely accompanied by streaming a recommendation / subject of a thread. Try this one thru. I know that there are many opportunities/options for further distraction (?) available perusing the forum. This band brings Steve to me and I hope you also give him a twirl.

Yeah . That was the show . It was Good . Deb didn't like him ??? But she liked Primus ???
There is a Simpsons episode where Homer eats some magic chili ( the peppers in particular ). He then , late at night , has his own visions , even Johnny Cash as a coyote . I was referring to the other evening and your posts . Let it pass if I am obscure . It's puff ball stuff .

My favourite Simpsons episode along with one where Homer ends up with Michelle Pfeiffer (?) in a hotel room.

Ah – this happens to me at work too – I am unfamiliar with the Simpsons; my co-workers shake their heads at me. But I have probably had more ‘visions’ than they, huh?

I am satisfied and gratified with what life brings me at this point, but I would love to see Steve Kimock and hopefully will.
