Forum: etree Subject: Help removing shows

I have four shows I uploaded within a weeks time and had a bad patch cord and did not notice it was one channel because I was playing it back in winamp and it blended the sound....I have sent an error report for all these shows and I need them removed so no one gets bunked and I can reupload the shows...help me please

at the archive we want to make sure that shows are preserved for the long term, so shows aren't removed till they have a superior version is 'in-hand' and uploaded and public already.

That being said, since you were the uploader of these 4 shows, just upload the new, fixed files and use the 'file replacement' link on the bottom left of the details page... that should work out just fine. let us know if that doesn't work or you need more help.

ok just fixed http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=22162 how long does it take (on avrage) for thease changes to take place? and will it change the lossy files also? never did this before so I am just wundering...Thanks
