I am working on the creation of CD-ROMs of reference works (encyclopedias, dictionaries, etc.) in Urdu language, which is written in the Arabic script. I shall be grateful for recommendations on useful authoring software of all types. The text will be created in software that has UNICODE support. Any references to authoring software for Arabic and Farsi will also be helpful.
