Re: Criminal |
I saw this show, one of the better Irvine ones, We always enjoyed the shows elsewhere (Long Beach etc.) . Part of the problem was unless you were in the center, the sound had little impact , clear, but , but a little faint .

Re: Criminal |
I was taping next to the Soundboard and caught some young girl out of the corner of my eye pocketing last night's Vegas show. Caught her redhanded. If someone hadn't stoled my copy that show would of been great for a Matrix.
LOSERS
Hopefully, Jack Straw whom I gave the master to still has it for these purposes.

Re: Criminal |
Yes, not everyone at Dead shows were cool . And, of course, the tape(s) she took, are either forgotten in a storeroom, erased to make a Loverboy tape, or in a landfill . All the trouble you went through ( especially back then !), and it wasted, because of some stupid behavior .
I remember reading Bear talking about coming back to the tapping setup, to find the reels gone . Sometimes , they end up in circulation, sometimes no . Nothing is more disheartening to find out a show "is not in the vault ",and there is no AUD, or only an awful sounding one , out there .
I don't know how much tapping you did, but thanks, retroactively ! I was not at all "in the loop" back then, but maybe some of my tapes originated from you .
