You won't find any 80s flicks here, and your selection from the 70s will be very limited. These are public domain and the best stuff, for the most part, will be movies produced before 1964. Copyright laws are looser (for the studios) after that.

There's quite a few Halloween goodies in this sub-collection plus a few more floating around in the main Feature Films section. You could also try doing a keyword search like "horror" and maybe find a few floating around in Open Source. There's also a recent post by someone who recently put some movies up and there's a few horror flicks on the list with links posted. "Devil Times Five" might be a good bet:

Thank You for that....Yea I do remember that there was a couple more INSANE CHILDREN movies on IA but out of all of them this one looks the best.
