Re: derive task failed, but still shown as active |
after a little more reading, I do see one thing I missed earler - a note about "missing a .txt file" - this was a bit of a random jam session, so I hadn't noted the songs (and it is all one file anyway) - is there any particular format needed for this .txt file?

Yes, you do need a txt file. People who come and download the show will also grab the txt file so they know what they have later on after they've surfed away.
However, we don't accept mp4 uploads to the Live Music Archive...only FLAC or SHN. Do you have anything in higher quality? Otherwise, it should go in the Open Source Audio collection.

Ahh, ok - I'm reviewing the files now for the songs that were played, will have a list shortly. I'll check a couple of other archives to see how others lay out the file.
As for a higher quality file, the ipod saved it as a .wav file, which I presume would be the highest quality possible given the equipment. Apple's software converts it only to their aac format (and likewise microsoft's player only converts to mp3) If the .wav file is acceptable, I'll upload them instead. (and originally I put these into the open source audio, but the musician featured requested I link them to his entry here in the archives, so this is actually a second copy)
