Re: Adobe bloat and Acrobat Version 9.0 |
Gerry!!!!
I had been meaning to yell out, some of your uploads are far too bloated, I wonder if for your PDF file, you might want to turn off the text component.
So first upload the bloated PDF, let the Archive deprive the text files from it, then delete that PDF, and replace it with a smaller byte size scan, which the Archive wont be able to get the text out of BUT will be lots faster downloading.
I got my best bit of writing ever, from 2002, uploading later today. I had the plumber in today, me, not him, is totally exhausted afterwards.

Re: Adobe bloat and Acrobat Version 9.0 |
Peter,
The b;loat is not from text; adobe has the worst file cmpression of all of the PDF products; I simply will no longer use it.
I do all my plumbing myself; then I do not have to deal with the workers.

Re: Adobe bloat and Acrobat Version 9.0 |
I use a HP scanner with neat PDF software, but the scanner interface got broken by new HTML in IE 7, rushed out because Firefox was gaining.
There is a weird work around, but it works.
I also scan into MS Words, and print to CutePDF Writer
