yes, 70-01-31 in NO would have been an interesting show to have attended with the arrest, tech problems and the bye-bye to TC.

knowing the background and that it wasn't a planned acoustic set makes it even more special to me.

I love the Black Peter and pigpen sings his heart out in katie mae...

it could be the george jones show since they play two songs written by him: old, old house (bound in memories) and seasons of my heart...and three if you include the race is on which of course was performed by jones...

plus there only mel tillis cover: sawmill...

btw: the smu (69-12-26) acoustic set wasn't planned either but they weren't busted in the big-D...just never played there enough or they would have been...
