thanks, just trying to sweat out these final moments...
funny, I was thinking the other day who would it be worse to work for davis or the yorks; and as little respect that I have come to have for al, I think I would take him over the yorks...
at least al knows football...it might be 1970s football but it still beats the yorks/de bartolos...
but, yes it is pretty ugly around here these days on sunday...not that I am a fan of either team, but you can still feel the losing...of course you don't feel it in the bay area as much as you do in other locales but you can definitely feel the losing in the air...

I am so proud of America at this moment. Even if an Obama administration becomes a shipwreck, which I don't believe it will, America has finally become a place where even an African American child who grew up poor in a family on public assistance can rise to such a position. His campaign motto was true: "Yes we can!" Martin Luther King's dream has become reality.

I read someplace where the world was waiting to see if we would act like the people that we purport ourselves to be today and possibly we lived up to our own billing for a change.
glad it is over...and admittedly I feel better about the place...
plus I don't have to fulfill my pact and move to the pictarin islands and marry a christian woman...
