Idiosyncrasies for tomorrow?? |
Thats weird, I posted this two hours ago and never made it.
Hmmmmm.
Nevertheless, I don't know if I will sit in front of a
computer on what should be a sunny summer Saturday, so
I thought I would ask today.
Are there any little things that you do to honor
Jerome John Garcia on August 9th?
I have had the habit of buying a single long-stem
red rose for years now. I replace the one atop the
picture of Jer-Bear that hangs on the wall above my bed.
I also set aside a moment to listen to Brokedown Palace
(which I couldn't listen to for years, for obvious reasons)
and reflect and usually shed a tear. I think I will
listen to the version off the Road Trips 3 bonus disc
this time.
The harmonies, the harmonies, oh, oh, the harmonies.
And of course, I will hoist a few frosty ones and listen
to nothing but the Dead all day. But that happens every
day for me. COUGH, COUGH
I also dress up like George Clinton, dress my dog up as
Groucho Marx and beat him with a rubber chicken, all while
giving myself a reach-around. But that's another story...
Anyone else??
How do you plan on celebrating/mourning??
