"I would rate a film on the film not its format, but I like to see my DLs on my TV not the computer. So I would not be able to check those films out as I would not be likly to ever see them. Why upload in a format that is a pain to convert and is poor when you do? I try to understand, but don't sorry."
I agree, the purpose of MP4 is streaming video. It can also be used for iPod-type media players, but it is not intended for large-screen displays. The quality of the Feature Films downloads has diminished some as these have become more popular. If people want to reduce upload time, DivX is widely supported and has better results in the conversion.
