Sitcoms old and not so old |
Ozzie and Harriet ran out of storylines years before it went down in the ratings. The only thing that kept it "fresh" in later seasons was having the real-life wives of Rick and David playing their wives on TV, but the plots were still limited.
The Nelsons really capitalized on Rick emerging as a rock star, so by the time he was in his late teens and well into his 20s he got to perform 1 song in almost every episode.
I agree with you about The Simpsons, but then I've always hated that show. It's hard to believe that's still going after nearly 20 years.

Re: Sitcoms old and not so old |
Who cares about my opinion? Well, I do for starters. I'm sure there are others here too who may find some of the TV trivia of value to them if they've never seen some of these shows.
Diana should kick you off the forum for being so hostile. Have you been skipping your meds lately? :)
