hey, The Exorcist on lysergic.
Good for a few laffs.
Fun for the whole family, your mother too.
I went with some French exis to see The Shining on opening week, the 5 of us had chewed some red bindweed squares silk-screened with intricate dragon details in gold.
Going to the A-Hole Gallery afterwards, arriving early we were relaxing at the farthest space from the entrance.
As the artsy punks filed in to establish their pecking order in this non-secured zone of anarchy,
the eye-contact was unreal.
Those kids knew how to absorb contact high like churrels find water in July on the floor of Death Valley.
But kids, don't try a similar chemi-cocktail combo at home alone in the dark with an old rocking chair nearby while watching Black Sabbath: "The Drop of Water" segment; (1963 dir: Mario Bava)
or even Rosemary's Baby - that one gets under your skin. The Don Ellis freak-out horns and the chanting, certain subtle aspects are more unsettling than the in your face gore of Suspiria or The Exorcist.
And avoid the Warsaw Ghetto footage and other real horrors.
I mean, the last time I had Owslee the red Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner was weird to look at.
I usually filter out inanimate objects when they start screwing with me via telepathic contrariness.
Try this favorite film of Jerry Garcia, on the rose of your choice:
The Sarragosa Manuscript
