I thouroughly enjoyed listening to 3.20.77. That Scarlet Begonias was picture perfect. And you must have been bedazzled by the Terrapin encore!

Your bottle comment reminded me of a time trying to smuggle some j's into a show. A word to the wise, don't attempt to stuff them in your boxers and expect them to stay put.

As is the Peggy-O--what a guitar solo!

So true. Just listen to the how smooth and clear Jerry's voice is. Full of compassion.

Peggy-O is one of my favorites. I love the Jerry ballads. One day my 7 yr old asked me, Dad, why is Jerry singing so nicely when they're so angry-o?

You guys have it right...my little sister came to this show with me, her first, and this started our love affair with Peggy O...don't recall it much before this year.

Sweet. A great bond to have with your sister. Some great memories were had and remembered at Dead shows. I hope you two are still close. Nothing closer than a sibling.

I'd found that stuffing them in my hair when it was pulled back into a pony tail was a good place. The hair was tight to your skull so it kept them in place until you got into the venue & could pull them out before they got too sweaty. And nobody EVER patted down my head.
