Nnnnnnnnerrrrrrrrds!!
Interesting, but hardly substantial film about a railroad club. Film seems to be obsessed by telling people about how anal they are about the correct time and speeds of the trains, then we watch as a freight train is assembled, by the trains themselves. DON'T TOUCH THE TRAINS someone is yelling, off camera. Before computers, there were trains to keep the nerdy kids occupied.

No it's not "A Visit to Santa" — It's miles better!
While a few complaints could be made about this (The music is generically triumphant, the shots of the operator and his hands are all duplicates) it appears to be a good display of a serious model railroad. The line about "running away with the circus" is definitely a dating moment for this though.

O-Scale Westchester Model RR Club
This is a fun film intended for school children, to introduce them to model railroading. Although it shows *what* the model trains do, it doesn't go into *how* it is done. For instance, it conveniently ignores the necessity to hand-uncouple cars, or to switch blocks when running multiple engines. But no matter, it's just a fun look at a model railroad club, and I'm sure it piqued the interest of many kids back in the day.

No wrecks today!
Basic, decent film about model railroads. The delivery and pacing reminds me of a newsreel short subject. Surprisingly not a "hidden advertisement" for Lionel trains. An okay watch, not as zany as "A Visit to Santa" or the intro to "Safe Roads"!
