I wish you'd taught me English Lit
I had an English teacher called Mr Dolan. We ALL used to hide in the toilets for his lessons because we felt like we'd died during his monotonous renditions of these great authors. It took me 20 years to learn to appreciate them. Your students are very lucky, and so am I, now, thanks to your superb readings. Thank you :)

Magnificent!
I disagree with all the five star reviews. This book and reading deserves ten stars! Elizabeth Klett reads this with absolute perfection. I think this is the most superb reading I have ever heard. Absolutely perfect. Most highly recommend.
Note: There is another 5-star review for EK but it has gone astray as I noticed that it was mistakenly placed on the page of another Librivox rendition of this book, the one read by multiple readers.

Wow
Kudos to Elizabeth Klett for another excellent reading! Once again her voicing and interpretations brought the story to life. There's so much more to the story when she reads to me than I ever get out of it when I read it silently to myself.

I love this reader
Elizabeth Klett is one of my favorite readers. This was my first Klett reading and three chapters in, I downloaded everything she has done. Jane Eyre is a classic story and Klett brings it back to life. Well Done!

Outstanding
I listened to this fantastic audio book without much knowledge of 'Jane Eyre'. It has now become one of my favourite books and Elizabeth Klett's reading of the story is just flawless. I'd love to hear Elizabeth Klett record some more Bronte books but for now I'll just have to listen to Jane Eye again...and again.

Download this version!
The other version of 'Jane Eyre' is narrated by several different readers, some of the accents are confusing, some voices are strong while others rise just above a whisper, and the females who speak Rochester's lines leave much to be desired. My intent is not to criticize that version, but to encourage listeners to pass it by in favor of Elizabeth Klett's version so as not to waste time, and in order to derive more pleasure from listening. Elizabeth has a lovely voice, melodic yet lively, and listening to her interpretation is pure pleasure. Thank you, Elizabeth, for the many hours you apparently devoted to this task. God bless.

Fabulous reading
Elizabeth Klett gives us a wonderful, professional quality reading of this classic. Happy to report that her British accent is very creditable, even to the ears of a native speaker. Brava! (The BookWorm, Manchester, UK)

heartily recommended
If you've never read Jane Eyre, you should really consider to listening to this audiobook instead of buying the paper book. The first minutes of the first chapter are somehow hard to follow, but then, as you were thinking that maybe reading with your own eyes wasn't a bad idea after all, the reader voice catches up with the beat and suddenly projects you into a perfect 19th century fine environment, and you will surprisingly find yourself flowing through the tale without any apparent effort and with very much enjoyment.
Priceless are the numerous duets between Eyre and Mr Rochester for the reader seems to have a neat distinct voice for both and never fades out of character.
In a nutshell you can't miss this one out.
