Nice an' Slow; Cool Calm and Collected
The trick is to not look like you're in a confused panic, hacking away at the meat with the thing dancing all over the table (like I do with a turkey). Dividing steaks? Who ever does that? I thought everybody just got their own steak. I really wanted to see her carve a pork shoulder....its not really addressed here. Those are monsters to get intact pieces out of.
A classic mid 50's production featuring Harvey Korman who would later become so familiar on TV. Almost high school level acting but appropriate for the subject matter. The perky music sets the carefree tone of this educational film designed to promote better living (important to people in those days after two world wars and a depresson).
This movie has given me the crave for a standing rib roast - or maybe a leg of lamb. Thank goodness I got food stamps.

Meat cutting skills featuring the OTHER Martha..
In this fascinating short, Harvey Korman (!!) and William Kerwin (who both starred in early Herschell Gordon Lewis movies) show their wives how to cut meat. And we have ALL the meat here for ya folks, Steaks, roasts, chicken, turkey, ham.. you name it. They get their advice from a home expert by the name of Martha... Logan who chirps away while sawing away into a leg of lamb, is really something here. Show this to your next PETA party. Really, I dare ya.
