Description

A 1957 report from the Fund for the Advancement of Education (a Ford Foundation initiative) on the Early Admission Program, a pioneering venture in early entrance to college. Includes summaries of the findings of two independent studies commissioned by the Fund, one on psychiatric outcomes and the other on educational outcomes.



Only one of the twelve early entrance programs described in the book continues in operation in the 21st century: the early entrance program at Shimer College in Chicago.
