40 minute film, yes, 40 mins, and apparently the film isn't over by the time this one ends, which tells of a story of a rich city-slicker crashing his vehicle in the country. Kind farm folk pick him up, and yes, treat him at their home (unheard of today, making this film somewhat archaic). As soon as city-slicker starts to get well, he makes the moves on the farmer's daughter, even though she's got a beau already. But wait! This film is called Hidden Harvest, and brought to you by Purina!? Well yes, all of this silly drama does pause from time to time to have characters talk about Purina farm products, and also the couple go to a movie where, yes, one of the short subjects is about the benefits of feed. After that, the film ends. What happens to the couple? The farmer's daughter's chickens? The city slicker's father?!?? So many unanswered questions!
