One of the finest shorts I've seen on this site
A love story wrapped up in a travelogue. And all brought to you courtesy of The Standard Oil Company. It doesn't get much better than this.

Spuzz Is Right!
This is truly a gem! It's all in here. A 1950's love story, classic cars, dunes on Lake Michigan that most people don't even know exist; lesbians spending summer at the Interlochen Music Camp; and the crowning glory is the classic image of the Standard Gas Station attendant whose picture (I'm certain taken from that very frame) would grace the Standard Oil advertisements and road maps for years...even the teeth are the same.
This travelogue is a classic tour of the Midwest and some of the Rockies and all important points in between. A must see for those who have spent their entire lives on the West Coast.
And as Spuzz said....how on earth did I pass this one up!

Cue The Violins!
An overlooked gem on this site (Oh they ALL are), Mr reporter type (Dale) goes on vacation and bumps into a geezer type and her daughter Connie ("Fresh!" Connie sez. After helping the geezer literally run his car off the road, Mr Reporter volunteers his car to visit the Midwest. Off they go to visit the many campgrounds (One just happened to have a kids orchestra convention going on), historical sites, and natural wonders. The dialogue sometimes is priceless..
Connie: "A place like this makes me feel a shadow of history!"
Dale "Yeah I get a whale of a kick out of places like this!"
So by the end, if you think Dale and Connie fall in love, well you've seen to many films like this. Reccomended!
